In February 2019, more than 37 years after the last Specials record ‘Ghost Town’ featuring frontman Terry Hall’s distinctive vocals hit the UK No.1 spot, the band returned with new album ‘Encore’. Critically acclaimed it picked up from where they’d left off with lead single ‘Vote For Me’ summing up the times perfectly. A new version of ‘The Lunatics’, a track that had played a part in the 1981 split, seemed even more relevant. The album would debut at No.1 and they would then embark on a year of touring the UK, Europe and the USA.

Celebrating its 5th anniversary this edition come’s in GOLD coloured vinyl and is limited to just 2000 copies.
